Sergio Perez won the 1st race for Red Bull in an tough F1 Azerbaijan GP on 06th of June, after teammate and long-time race leader Max Verstappen crashed after a tire failure, while Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton finished with zero points after botching a late restart.
As the Red Bull driver Verstappen, who led the race for most of the time, had a tyre and retired and triggered a safety car with 5 laps left, the race then showed the red flag on the third lap, which caused the race to be interrupted for more than half an hour.
After restarting with a static start, Hamilton, who was ranked second, rushed out of the track at Turn 1. In the end, Perez, the sixth starting Red Bull driver, won his second championship in his career. Vettel and Gasley ranked second and third respectively. This is also the first time they both have reached the podium this season.
P4-P10 are Leclerc, Kakuda Yuyi, Norris, Sainz, Ricardo, Alonso and Raikkonen.
