2. Fabric and construction

Shell fabric: chosen with you. Describe the weight and the feel you want, or ask to see what we hold for this garment. Construction: a full-zip front, ribbed or elasticated cuffs and hem, and a lined or unlined body as specified. A waterproof membrane sits behind the face fabric, and the seams on the exposed panels are sealed so water does not track in along the stitching. The face fabric is tightly woven to cut wind, which is what makes the difference on an exposed pitch or an early start. Vapour escapes through the fabric rather than condensing inside, so the garment does not turn clammy partway through a session. Pockets are cut and bar-tacked to the positions you specify, and every pocket mouth is reinforced where the load pulls hardest. Nothing is cut until the specification sheet is agreed: weight, finish and trims are all on it, together with the size chart.

3. Customisation options

• Decoration: sublimation, screen print, transfer or embroidery. We check the file against the process before pricing it, since line weights and gradients behave differently in each method.
• Colour: any Pantone reference you supply; we cut the full size run from one lot, because a shade difference between sizes is the complaint you cannot fix afterwards.
• Size range: S – XXL as standard on this product; you can split the quantity across sizes rather than ordering a flat number of each.
• Branding positions: chest and back are the usual starting points; sleeves, collar and hem are quoted as additions.
• Labels and packing: we can apply your branded label and pack to your own carton and barcode standard.

Vector artwork (AI, EPS, PDF) is ideal. For all-over or photographic designs a high-resolution raster file at 300 dpi at final print size also works. If you only have a sketch or a reference garment, send that and we will set the file up.

Do you put our own label in the garments?

Yes. Woven labels, printed neck labels and size strips can all carry your branding, and goods can be packed to your own carton and barcode standard.

Can we see a sample before committing?

Yes — a pre-production sample is produced and signed off before bulk starts. Approving the sample is what locks the fabric, colour and decoration method.
