The Podium may have had Lewis Hamilton on it for his win but the environmentalist award belongs to Sebastian Vettle after the British GP over the weekend. Seb stayed behind after he noticed the rubbish left in a grandstand and assisted with the clean up.
A race that was at full capacity for spectators whilst the rest of the world is either in lockdown or restrictions and yet these F1 fan's couldn't take their rubbish with them or place it in bins provided.
As part of his continued commitment to raise awareness of environmental issues, Sebastian is using his platform to make a difference.
"I think it is important that we all respect the environment," said Sebastian. "We have to start somewhere and each one of us can make a difference now."
Sebastian this truely shows the depth of the person you really are !!! Well Done for setting an example, hope the people you've cleaned up after take a leaf out of your book and never let this happen again . An example for many a spectator for future races .
