2. Fabric and construction

Shell fabric: chosen with you. Describe the weight and the feel you want, or ask to see what we hold for this garment. Construction: a full-zip front, ribbed or elasticated cuffs and hem, and a lined or unlined body as specified. A waterproof membrane sits behind the face fabric, and the seams on the exposed panels are sealed so water does not track in along the stitching. The face fabric is tightly woven to cut wind, which is what makes the difference on an exposed pitch or an early start. Digital printing holds photographic detail, gradients and fine line work that screen printing cannot reproduce. Printing is chosen to suit the artwork: screen printing for flat spot colours, transfer for fine detail, sublimation for all-over designs. Weight, finish and trims are set on the specification sheet and signed off before the fabric is cut.

• Decoration: digital printing / printed decoration. We look at the artwork before we quote, so the method we name is one your file can actually hold.
• Colour: any Pantone reference you supply; all sizes come off one fabric lot, which keeps the shade consistent end to end.
• Size range: S – XXL as standard on this product; there is no minimum per size within the order, only a minimum for the order as a whole.
• Branding positions: tell us the positions you want and every one is quoted on its own line.
• Labels and packing: your own label can go into the neck, and goods can ship bagged for retail or loose in cartons.
